Discovering the movement of UG cadres in Shekmajin, troops of 18 SIKH of 9 Sector and 27 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) launched joint operation in the area and apprehended one PLA cadre on 15 Jul 2012. The apprehendee was identified as No 1794 SS Cpl Thaochan Yumjeoba Singh alias Albert , 36 yrs, s/o TH Pari. r/o Shekmajin Maning Leikai. One 9 mm Pistol with Magazine and two Live rounds was recovered from the apprehendee who alongwith recovery was handed over to Mayang Imphal police station.
