27 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) organised a Drawing and Painting Competition at Standard English High School, Sugnu on the theme of “Greener Manipur” in Thoubal District on 17 May 2012. A total of 52 students participated in the competition. The competition included prize distribution to the winners and a number of motivational prizes to few others. The event will provide a quantum leap towards fostering the bond of friendship between the local populace the Assam Rifles with a lot of positive anticipation and mentioned that such noble endeavors of 27 Assam Rifles definitely channelize the energies of the youth into fruitful activities which in turn will transform into Peace and Prosperity in the region.
