Discovering the movement of UG cadres in Konjen Leikai, troops of 22 Grenadiers and 18 Sikh of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) launched joint operation in the area and apprehended one KYKL cadre on 14 May 2012. The apprehendee was identified as Naorem Arun @ Korou, 23 yrs, s/o N Bolo Singh, r/o Maiddangpok Mayai Leikai,Imphal West. One 9 mm Pistol with magazine, five 9mm live rounds and one Chinese grenade with detonator were recovered from the apprehendee who alongwith recovered was handed over to Singjemei Police station.
