The medical team of 27 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) timely saved the life of a girl bitten by a venomous snake on 27 Apr 12. The victim named Asma, 10 yrs D/o Mr Hesamuddin of Wabagai village, Thoubal district was brought to the Unit Hospital in a critical condition. The victim was immediately attended by Medical officer who administered life saving anti snake venom and she was evacuated to RIMS, Imphal for further management.
