The Medical team of 42 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under aegis of HQ IGAR(S) organized a medical check up for school children at MNBA High school at Machi village of Chandel district on 18 Apr 12.140 School children from Machi and adjoining villages benefited from the camp. In another instance,18 SIKH of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) provided sports items to the Brighter English Academy at Oinam on 18 Apr 12 on the occasion of their annual sports day. The sports items included footballs, volleyballs and nets.
