27 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under the aegis of HQ IGAR(S) conducted an ex-servicemen meet on 19 Apr 2012 at Sugnu village of Thoubal District.The meet was conducted with an aim to apprise the Ex-servicemen about the various schemes and benefits being provided for their welfare by State and Central governments. The event was attended by 81 ex-servicemen. 27 Assam Rifles also provided medical assistance and canteen facilities during the event.
