On 11 Apr 2012, 29 Assam Rifles of 6 Sector under IGAR(N) alongwith police representative, launched a search operation in general area Purana Bazaar. While carrying out the search a suspicious looking individual tried to run away and the party apprehended him. The individual namely is Mr. Hehiya Muru, 38 years, S/O (L) Khughovi Muru, R/O Mukhai, Dist Zunobhuto (Nagaland). On carrying out the search of his premises, 05 booklets of tax collection receipts, alongwith incriminating documents. 02 x empty magazine of Pistol and 01 x 7.65 mm live round, 02 x 9 mm live round and 01 x .42 mm live round was seized from the custody of the individual. The individual alongiwth recoveries was handed over to East Police Station.
