Discovering the transportation of illegal drugs, troops of 24 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) launched operation in general area Tengnoupal and apprehended a drug peddler while traveling in Maruti Van Regn No. MN 01X 1305 from Imphal to Moreh alongwith drugs on 11 Dec 11. The apprehendee was identified as V Shiva, 24 years, s/o Mr S P Vallaiswamy, r/o Ward No. 4, Moreh, Chandel. 3980 Tab (Alzolam 0.25) of Alprazolam Tablets, 2000 Tab (Alzolam 0.5) Alprazolam Tablets have been recovered from the apprehendee.
